Julia Grant

Sustainability Program Manager at: Micron Technology, Inc

Background

Julia has led innovative business and community impact initiatives for the past 18 years.  Her experience spans policy creation, corporate sustainability efforts, landscape scale conservation projects, ecological restoration, strategic plan development, grant writing, land use planning and environmental education programs.

She enjoys bringing new and lasting value to businesses, landowners and growing communities.  Julia is motivated by complex challenges and her most satisfying projects have involved leading collaborative efforts amongst unlikely partners – certification of Boise Cascade Timberlands, conservation of Boise Foothills open space, and creation of the Idaho Coalition of Land Trusts.

Julia holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Missouri and a dual Master’s in forestry and resource ecology from Duke University.  In 2016, she obtained a badge from Boise State University’s Venture College (competitive entrepreneurial program).  She and her family have called Boise home for 16 years
