Lynn Tominaga has over 30 years experience in Idaho agriculture, water and natural resource issues. He is executive director of Idaho Groundwater Appropriators Association, Idaho Ground Water Association, and Idaho Irrigation Pumpers Association. He is active on the Natural Resource Conservation State Advisory Committee, IDEQ Citizens Drinking Water Advisory Committee, IDEQ Technical Groundwater Committee, Idaho Power Citizen Advisory Group, Idaho Power Risk Management Team, IDWR Technical Groundwater Committee, and a member of executive board of Idaho Food Producers.
Prior to forming his own company, Tominaga was a water policy analyst for the Idaho Water Users Association for 9 years. He also owned and operated a 400 acre family farm in the Burley/Rupert area. He was a four term state senator in the Idaho Legislature where his committee assignments included the Joint Finance and Appropriations, chairman of the Senate Ways & Means, vice-chairman of the Senate Resource and Environment, Local Government and Education committees. He also served as Senate Republican Caucus Chairman from 1989 to 1990.
Lynn and his family make their home in Boise, Idaho. He and his wife, Brenda, have two children: Andrew, 32 and is married and has a son , and Anna, 25 and is married and has a little girl.
