Stefanie Krantz is an ecologist who works on climate change adaptation planning for the Nez Perce Tribe. She received her Master’s Degree (M.S.) in 2005 from the University of Michigan where her research focused on ecology and biological diversity in agricultural ecosystems. Her background includes working for public, private, and non-profit entities conducting scientific research, plant and animal surveys, and planning to protect biological diversity, endangered species, and human health and well-being. She is an avid bird watcher who has traveled around the world to learn first-hand about birds and wildlife, ecosystems, and people. When she is not working, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family.
